  • @podnosh not sure if brightcove do an appropriate package? Any reason you don’t want vimeo, etc, to take the hosting strain? #
  • @podnosh on the Fullrange site we use a free flash app called flvplayer.swf.. Comes with the .fla so could poss customize in flash? #

  • Car went in for £200 service. Needs new radiator, cam belt, brake pads, water pump and "drive shaft gaitor". £1400. Fuck. #
  • @alexbrooks Suspect a small piece of rubber whose defining characteristic is costing enough to irrigate Uganda. #
  • Just collected car and now £1406 worse off. Sole evidence for that money ever existing: engine temp gauge now at 90 degrees. #
  • @bounder sadly not. it was the car equivalent of going in for an ingrowing toenail and having a triple bypass instead. #

  • On way to the rice! Managed to walk from digbeth to victoria square without encountering a single artsfest programme. Not v impressive… #
  • As much as I love my 70-200mm f/2.8, it’s Freudian connotations leave me a little self conscious walking around town. #
  • Mental note - wide angle lens more appropriate for the rice show.. Now have lots of pictures of individual grains. Lacks grandeur… #
  • Think I got some nice photos of the fireworks at artsfest this evening, will tidy up and post tomorrow. Now in hyatt bat for drinks. #

  • I’ll admit to a certain level of disappointment that I didn’t wake up in a bizarre LHC-induced 11th dimension this morning. #
  • Why must all “popular science” writers insist on translating every quantity into a equivalent number of familiar objects? Inane. #
